Sunrise and moonset at the North Sea

Sunrise and moonset at this beautiful monument at the coast in the Netherlands. On the left side you see already the colors of the sun that rises and on the right the full moon has just set.

If you are in Petten aan Zee you should definitely take a look at the monument Palendorp on the beach near the Bergeendstraat. This beautiful artwork consists of a 160 poles of six to twelve meters in length. The poles are in the form of ten houses and a church. It is a reminder of the old Petten, which was flooded by the sea a long time ago.
